NEW CLASS: Crafting the Personal Essay

The best, most compelling essays reveal something about the writer in such a specific way that the message is paradoxically universal—and moving. These are the essays we return to, share with our friends, and wish we’d written. Well, we can.

When I began essay writing, I craved a blueprint that was simple to understand. This course is the framework I wish I’d had. It comes from years of examining the essay form, learning and workshopping, and writing my own. Participants receive personalized feedback with the goal of finishing the course with a completed essay ready to submit for publication, and ideas for writing more.

Now is the time to start—or finish—the piece you’ve always dreamed of writing.

This course is for every level of experience and publication.

Coming July 1. Questions? Contact me using this form.
